Dental Veneers For A Vibrant Smile

Hide Flaws, Fix Chips

Do you hide your smile or avoid smiling altogether because your teeth make you self-conscious?

Your smile is a natural and unique part of who you are, but if you don't like how it looks, it can harm your self-esteem. We provide dental veneers in Middleton, WI. It is a cosmetic dentistry treatment that hides tooth imperfections, such as chips, gaps, discoloration, and crookedness, to help you regain confidence in your smile and yourself. We will correct any flaws in your smile zone and perfectly match corrections to your skin tone, gum line, lip line, and facial features.

What Can You Expect From Dental Veneers?

They are created with the impressions our dentists take in your first appointment. This makes them personalized that ensures the perfect fit.

Your veneers can instantly correct a wide range of smile imperfections and give you a confident new look.

Your flawless smile can last ten years or more as long as you exercise caution and good oral health habits.

Dental veneers can resist stains and decay better than your natural teeth.

You can take care of your veneers like you take care of your teeth. Brushing and flossing twice daily is all it takes to keep your dental veneers clean.

Dental veneers are the least invasive dental procedure as the dentist shaves less than 1/2 millimeters of teeth to fix the shell.

Our Custom Treatment Process

Porcelain veneer treatment is a highly personalized and detailed process. Veneers must hide dental problems and provide a new smile that looks and feels completely natural. During your first appointment, Dr. Austin Wessell will remove a few millimeters of the front surface of your tooth enamel. This ensures that your custom dental veneers fit naturally and comfortably over your existing teeth. Next, we'll take impressions of your modified teeth, which will be used to hand-design your veneers to the ideal size, shape, and color for a beautiful new smile.

When these restorations are complete, you'll return to our Middleton, WI, cosmetic dentistry practice for a second appointment. We will check the final fit of your veneers and securely bond them to your teeth. You won't need to do any special maintenance with veneers, and while they won't stain like natural teeth, you should still brush and floss daily.

Dental veneers, one of the options in our smile makeover series, are designed to complement your gum line, lip line, facial features, and skin tone! In short, our veneers will provide you with the smile of your dreams that will last for many years.

  • What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are made by bonding a thin layer of material to the surface of the teeth. Each veneer is custom-made in our cutting-edge dental laboratory with reference to the shape and color of your natural teeth.

Dr. Wessell will create a mold after reducing the enamel surface of your teeth to ensure the perfect contour of your new veneers. At your next appointment, we will use a special bonding fluid to secure your dental veneers to your natural tooth.

Our veneer treatments are well-known for their comfortable nature. Most patients require little to no anesthesia to remain pain-free. Of course, Dr. Wessell will discuss your expectations and preferences with you before your procedure begins.

  • How Do Dental Veneers Work?

Dental veneers are incredibly thin shells that are applied on the front surfaces of a person’s teeth. Depending on the style of veneers, the teeth may be prepped first by removing a small amount of enamel. Once installed, the veneers can cover noticeable flaws to make adjustments to alignment. They can also adjust the thickness of the teeth to improve spacing.

They are very easy to apply, requiring preparation of the teeth and then securing in place with a strong dental adhesive.

  • VENEERS VS. CROWNS—WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Dental veneers and dental crowns are both used for cosmetic purposes—to resolve chips, stains, discoloration, or crooked teeth. The main difference between the two is that dental crowns cover the entire tooth surface where veneers only cover the front portion of the tooth. Crowns (2 mm) are much thicker than veneers (1 mm) and the price for each is similar. Crowns provide additional support to damaged teeth where veneers do not. However, veneers are a much less invasive procedure and require less removal of the original tooth structure.

Veneers and crowns are both a great solution for patients looking to get a white, straight smile that looks and feels natural. If you’re interested but unsure which option is right for you, contact our office today to schedule a consultation.

  • HOW MUCH DO VENEERS COST?

The cost ranges from $1000 - $2500 per tooth.

The final expense is calculated using a number of variables, including the number of veneers, type of veneers, and veneer placement. During the consultation process, Dr. Wessell will perform an oral exam, discuss your cosmetic goals, design a custom treatment plan, and provide you with a precise quote for the procedure. Good candidates for veneers have healthy teeth and gums, and Dr. Wessell may recommend a procedure to improve dental health beforehand, if necessary.

Though you may be able to find a cosmetic dentist who will perform the veneers procedure at a reduced cost, choosing a less experienced dentist can lead to poor results or costly complications in the future. With his artistic eye and scientific experience, Dr. Wessell has worked with many patients over the years who have trusted him with their smiles.

Most of our patients consider veneers an investment in their oral health and beauty, and our office offers a number of payment options that can offer low monthly payments with low interest financing. Our third-party financing partner CareCredit® can help patients find a financing option that fits comfortably within their budget. We also accept all major credit cards at our office for your convenience.
